Our Story
Dhaka's favorite street snack, now in New Jersey
In Bangladesh, the fuskawala is the neighborhood hero: the vendor whose cart draws crowds every evening for plates of crunchy, tangy, spicy fuska (also called fuchka or phuchka).
We brought that tradition to Paterson, NJ. Every plate is made to order with fresh fillings, homemade tamarind water and bold Bangladeshi spices, just like the carts back home.

What is Fuska?
Fuska (also spelled Fuchka or Phuchka) is Bangladesh's most loved street snack: a crispy, hollow puri filled with spiced potato and chickpeas, then dunked in tangy tamarind water. It's similar to pani puri or golgappa, but with its own bolder Bangladeshi flavor.
Where is FuskaWala located?
Our cart is parked at Westside Park, 114 Totowa Ave, Paterson, NJ 07502. There's easy parking right next to the cart.
What are your hours?
We're open Thursday through Monday, 3PM–11PM, and closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Check @fuskatwala for weather or event updates.
Do you offer catering?
Yes! We cater weddings, corporate events, baby showers, birthdays and more. Call (862) 684-1860 or DM us on Instagram.
Is there a student discount?
Yes. On Mondays and Thursdays from 3PM to 6PM, high school students can get a plate of Fuska for only $5.
Is the food spicy?
Bangladeshi street food is known for its heat, but we can adjust the spice level. Just tell us when you order. Want it extra hot? Try the Naga Fuska.
